Vaughan Edwards — UBS
Vaughan is currently head of the EMEA regulatory management group at UBS, having previously been at CSFB for two years following an 11-year stint at the FSA. Golfing aspirations are rather limited by being a member of a golf club that's 240 miles away and being father to three little girls, so every incentive to help arrange at least one game a year is welcome.
Bob Fennell — FSA
Bob is an ageing associate in the major retail groups division of FSA having transferred from SFA, which he joined in 1994. Prior to that he worked for 20 years at the Bank of America and before that seven years with - oh, never mind, it's all too long ago to be of any interest. He has organised the odd golf day for current and ex-colleagues over the past eight years or so and has never been known to play to his alleged handicap at any such event. It is unlikely that will change.
Andrew Sowter — Deutsche Bank
Andrew is currently in compliance at Deutsche, having previously been in charge of compliance at Bear Stearns, prior to which he was at FSA. He has a particularly sharp dress sense on the golf course and has been known to perform a trick that involves hitting a tee shot 100-yards back over his head.
James Wheeler — Complinet
James is currently head of client relationship management for Complinet, having held such varied titles as Client Manager, Product Trainer and Head of Client Services since joining in 2002. He is especially proud of his nurtured (some would even say unique) ability to three-putt from six feet with unerring regularity. Whether or not this is the cause of his grey hair is pure speculation.
